Picking a date

Where to start?  I never knew picking the perfect date could be so complicated!  So many things factor into this one basic and necessary thing.

I know I want either Spring or Fall, being that they are my two favorite seasons.  Deciding between the two is proving to be much harder then I thought.  Do I pick the dress style I want first?  Do I pick the colors first?  Both seasons have redeeming qualities; Autumn has the beautiful deep, rich colors, and that rustic feel I love.  Where Spring has bright and cheerful colors, with a wide array of vibrant and fragrant flowers.

Rane is little help on this front.  He thinks weddings are fairly pointless.  Though strongly believing in marriage.  I can see his point, I mean I agree in some aspects.  I want a small intimate for exactly that reason.  I want to share this moment with my closest friends and family.

Hopefully soon we will figure out the perfect day.  All I want is to share a name with the love of my life, my best friend, and of course our son.

unconventionl beginings

We met in 2005, from the start he was my best friend. He was so smart, witty, and attractive. You could without a doubt say he had my eye. We were teenagers though, marriage and children were far from either of our minds. Years passed and we both changed so much (thank goodness that ludicrous phase passed for us). Fast forward to 2011. It began with a joke I sent in a text message, but quickly escalated to reminiscent phone calls and plans to attend a Halloween party together.

Our pregnancy was a surprise, not an unwelcome one. It happened so soon that pregnancy just flew by! Our little Puddle(now nearly seven months old) is perfect in every way. He has his fathers humor and smile, and my compassion and light in his eyes.

Friday February 15th 2013 Rane told me he "I want you to be my wife. I don't have a ring yet, but I love you want to spend my life with you".  That is where this blog really starts at our engagement. the road to sharing a name with my best friend and my perfect son.

Knowing my love for my Pandora bracelet he gave me this charm as he proposed.
